The 30-Second Upgrade: Turn Your Biza Into a Bar-Style Cocktail

Sometimes you want the convenience of cracking open a can. Other times, you want something that looks and tastes like it came across the bar at your favorite cocktail spot. Why choose? One of the easiest ways to enjoy Biza is to use it as the foundation for a simple upgraded cocktail. The vodka, fruit flavors and light sparkle are already there—you just add a couple of ingredients to change the personality of the drink. No shaker. No complicated recipe. No ten-bottle home bar. Just about 30 seconds.

For this upgrade, we're starting with Biza Passion Fruit Peach and taking its tropical fruit profile in a slightly richer, more sophisticated direction. The secret ingredient is St-George Spiced Pear Liqueur, which brings warm pear and spice notes that complement the passion fruit and peach. Then we add a small amount of Luxardo cherry juice for a deeper fruit note and beautiful color. The result is a cocktail that still tastes unmistakably like Passion Fruit Peach—but with another layer of complexity.

The Passion Peach Sunset

Ingredients:

  • 1 can Biza Passion Fruit Peach
  • ½ oz St-George Spiced Pear Liqueur
  • ½ oz Luxardo cherry juice
  • Ice
  • 1 Luxardo cherry for garnish

How to make it: Fill a large wine or cocktail glass with ice. Add ½ oz St-George Spiced Pear Liqueur and ½ oz Luxardo cherry juice. Slowly pour in one chilled Biza Passion Fruit Peach. Give it one gentle stir to combine everything while preserving Biza's light carbonation. Finish with a Luxardo cherry on top. That's it. Thirty seconds from can to cocktail.

What makes this recipe work is that we're not trying to cover up the original drink—we're building on it. Passion fruit and peach remain the stars, while pear adds another fruit dimension and subtle spice. The Luxardo cherry juice provides a darker, richer counterpoint to the bright tropical flavors. Meanwhile, Biza's real vodka and lighter carbonation provide the cocktail's foundation and sparkle. Each ingredient has a job, but the finished drink remains balanced, refreshing and recognizably Biza.

And that's really the bigger idea: an RTD doesn't have to be the end of cocktail making—it can be the beginning. Drink Biza cold straight from the can when you want something effortless. Pour it over ice when you want to slow things down. Or add one or two ingredients when you want to play bartender. You don't need a mixology degree to turn a great canned cocktail into something that feels completely different.

Crack it. Pour it. Make it yours.
